"A clinician who actually knows your name."

Meet Lynne

Expertise you can trust.
Support you'll actually feel.

For over 36 years, I have worked as a nurse practitioner, sitting across from people during some of the most personal conversations of their lives. That experience shaped how I approach weight management — not as a number on a scale, but as a whole picture: your health history, your habits, your stress, your sleep, and your daily reality. I saw a repeated correlation between THE MIDS — middle age and midbody weight gain. Sounds cute when you call the increasing waist size "love handles" or "muffin top," but there is nothing cute about it. I just call it "looking crappy in my clothes"!

"This is a conversation, not a lecture!"

I've been where you are.

I was chubby and very unhappy for the first 30 years of my life. I will never forget the feelings, using safety pins and rubber bands to close my jeans when I couldn't button them — sound familiar? When I was overweight I couldn't stay on any diet long enough to make a difference. I'd watch commercials on TV and everyone looked attractive and thinner than me, and I was sad — I needed help. I would be on a diet for 3 days, perfectly adhering to the plan, and then like somebody pushed a button I'd turn into Circle K, buy a box of Wheat Thins and eat the whole thing. And then I was on a binge until midnight, and then midnight was a new day and I would start all over again and last for 3 days and then BAM! I'd do the same thing. When I was heavy I didn't want anyone seeing me or weighing me. I totally understand that very lonely secret, so I meet with people individually and give each person my full attention.

Someone once helped me — I'm just here to help you. This isn't a product you buy. It's a partnership with someone who's genuinely in your corner. I keep the humanity in it, because I've lived it.

What's Different

What makes this approach different.

Your plan begins with an individual consultation. We review your health history, your goals, your previous weight-loss experiences, your lifestyle, your stress and your sleep — and together we determine what approach is appropriate for you. There's no one-size-fits-all program here. The clinical and behavioral support that follows is tailored to you, and the same person stays with you the whole way — me.

Individual, not off-the-shelf

Your assessment is your own. What we recommend is based on your health, your history and what's realistic for your life — never a template.

A clinician in your corner

Thirty-six years of clinical experience, and one point of contact who knows your name and your story from the first visit onward.

Support that continues

Ongoing clinical and behavioral check-ins — nutrition, activity, sleep, stress and accountability — for as long as it's useful to you.

I look at the whole picture.

Lifestyle, sleep, stress, nutrition, health history, and the patterns that may be making weight management more difficult for you. Most plans look at one piece in isolation. I'd rather understand how all of it fits together — because that's usually where the real, lasting change comes from.

Stress & Weight

Why stress is the piece most plans ignore.

You can do everything "right" and still feel stuck — and often, stress and sleep are part of why. When stress stays high and sleep runs short, it can work against your efforts and nudge you toward comfort food at exactly the wrong moments. It's rarely a simple willpower problem. Most programs treat stress and sleep as an afterthought. I treat them as part of the work, because when the underlying pressure never gets addressed, everything else becomes harder than it needs to be.

What we look at together

  • Sleep — the foundation almost everything else rests on.
  • Daily stress load and the patterns that quietly drive choices.
  • Simple, sustainable ways to steady your nervous system.
  • Mindful habits that fit your real life, not a perfect one.
The Consultation

What the consultation looks like.

A personal, individualized approach to weight management — built around you, and started only when you're ready. Everything is decided together, in conversation, at your pace.

It starts with a consultation

  • ·A thorough, personal health and lifestyle intake.
  • ·An honest look at your goals and what's realistically involved.
  • ·A clear explanation of the support and supervision I provide.
  • ·A decision, made together, about whether and how to move forward.

What ongoing support involves

  • ·Ongoing, one-on-one check-ins with me.
  • ·Clinical and behavioral support — nutrition, activity, stress, sleep.
  • ·Accountability that meets you where you are, without judgment.
  • ·A focus on the long game, so change holds over time.

What happens after the structured phase?

The goal is to help you build practical habits you can continue over time — not to hand you back to square one. Follow-up can focus on nutrition, activity, sleep, stress and accountability, for as long as that support is useful to you. This is about the life you keep living after, not just a stretch of weeks.

Is this right for you?

Working together takes real commitment — I'll tell you that plainly, because the people who do best begin prepared. This isn't for everyone, and that's okay. The consultation exists precisely so the two of us can figure that out together, with no pressure either way.

Someday is now.

Change doesn't wait for the perfect moment — it starts the day you decide your health is worth a real conversation. No pressure, and no commitment to start that day. Just a conversation to see if this is the right fit for you.
